Every semester members have the opportunity to work on a different project team. Check below to see the teams for our upcoming semester!
This team will learn the fundamentals of functional programming, a paradigm inspired by mathematical reasoning, in a beginner-friendly minicourse. Instructed through the OCaml toplevel, this course introduces core concepts like higher-order functions, recursion, and immutability through simple, hands-on examples.
Continuing their work from last semester, this team will be implementing a system to read through public domain webpages and create a predictive index for a small group of related stocks in order to gather and process generalized data at a highly efficient rate.
Founded in 2024, Michigan Quantitative Computing is an innovative project-based club for quantitative computing at the University of Michigan.
